About $8,000 worth of bikes are being donated to needy children in Orange and Los Angeles counties, thanks to the efforts of a nonprofit group and a construction company. Food Finders Inc., a Seal Beach group that normally provides about 126,000 pounds of food a month to the needy, is assembling the bikes on a DreamWorks movie studio set in Manhattan Beach. The bikes were donated by Snyder Langston Builders of Irvine and will be given to several charitable organizations for distribution to kids as Christmas presents.
