The winners of the Chamber of Commerce’s 1998 Winter Wonderland Light Decorating Contest were announced Friday. They are Stephen M. Wilson (home) and the Vintage Restaurant & Bar (business) in the sweepstakes category; Andy Harvey and Larry Kent (home) and Capistrano Shores Mobilehome Park (business) for most effective lights display; Ike and Nicki Kerhulas (home) and the Vintage Restaurant & Bar (business) for most traditional; and Kent and Alison Richards (home) and Capistrano Shores Mobilehome Park (business) for most humorous.
The winners will receive prizes from local stores, with the sweepstakes winner in the business category receiving a free one-year membership to the Chamber of Commerce.
Runners-up in the competition are Fred and Dee Dalessi, Steve and Jeannine Newton, Gwynn and Jackie Gelderman and Russell and Nancy Sutton.
