The City Council recently approved putting utility lines underground on Rockfield Boulevard from Cavanaugh Road to Landisview Avenue. Southern California Edison is required by law to dedicate funds to bury power lines in the city. Construction will begin in June 2000 and will cost about $1.16 million. By 2000, about $1.18 million in funds will have been dedicated to the city by Edison. Information: (949) 461-3400.
