Three seniors at Fairmont High, a private school in Anaheim, have been named semifinalists in the 1999 National Merit Scholarship Program. Meghan Clyne of Orange, Michelle Jo of Yorba Linda and Erica Leong of Diamond Bar are among the top-scoring students in the state and rank in the top 1% of California’s high school graduating class.
The finalists will be announced in the spring.
Aparna Iyer of Anaheim and Rosemina Mehrdady of Huntington Beach were also honored as commended students in the Merit Scholarship Program.
