Canyons 67, Irvine Valley 58--Kameelah Purdom had 13 points and 15 rebounds to help the Cougars earn their fifth consecutive victory in a nonconference game at Irvine Valley.
Canyons (6-1) outrebounded Irvine Valley, 37-14, in the second half, when Sosanna Hallahan grabbed six of her 10 rebounds and Becca Voigt had five of her six. Hallahan scored 12 points and Voigt had eight.
Valley 78, Hancock 69--Tynisha Howze collected 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Maricella Rodriguez added 16 points in a WSC interdivisional victory for the Monarchs at Hancock.
Valley (8-3) limited Hancock to one three-point basket in the first half and led, 41-27, at halftime.
