No. 6 Edison 66, Loara 45--Michelle Zylstra scored 13 of her 21 points in the third quarter, when Edison (5-1) outscored visiting Loara 23-13 to take a 27-point lead.
Capistrano Valley Christian 62, Liberty Christian 27--Melissa Sands had 18 points, nine rebounds and eight assists and Bethany Thom scored 27 points to lead visiting Capistrano Valley Christian (5-1).
Magnolia 59, Trabuco Hills 52 (OT)--Magnolia outscored Trabuco Hills, 13-7, in the fourth quarter, sending the game into overtime. Armida Galvez scored 18 points and Santa Pizarroz 10 for Magnolia (2-5).
Emily Deely scored 23 points for Trabuco Hills.
Newport Harbor 47, Laguna Hills 32--Kristen Urban scored 17 points, making eight of 10 from the free-throw line, and had eight rebounds for the host Sailors (5-2).
Teammate April Ross had 14 points and five rebounds.
Shannon Owens led Laguna Hills with nine points.
Santa Ana Valley 55, Anaheim 29--Lisa Sanchez had 18 points and seven rebounds and Ashley and Raven Herbert scored 12 points each for Santa Ana Valley (5-4).
No. 4 Troy 48, El Modena 27--Katie Hardeman had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead Troy (7-0). Host El Modena is 2-6.
In the Gary Raya Classic:
Canyon 51, Corona 24--Meghan O’Neill scored a game-high 14 points for visiting Canyon (5-3), with four three-pointers in the first quarter.
Trish Christian had 11 points, and Paulette Seaman 10. Kisha Auld and Claudine Auld each scored seven points for Corona.
In the Mission Viejo tournament:
No. 10 Foothill 50, Orange 23--Chavaughn Brown and Kristen Mann each scored 15 points for Foothill (7-0).
