A three-story Country Suites hotel with 118 window air-conditioning units will be built on Los Alisos Boulevard, the City Council decided Monday. Residents from a neighboring retirement community, concerned about deteriorated views and potential noise, unsuccessfully lobbied to have the hotel limited to two stories with central air conditioning. The developer had made some concessions to the residents on other issues but said he’d rather scrap the project than redesign the hotel. Information: (949) 470-3000.
