At the request of residents, the City Council recently approved a 25 mph speed limit for McIntyre Street south of La Paz Road. City officials had to designate the stretch of road a business district because it did not meet state standards for a residential area; the neighborhood is near businesses. The new speed limit will require two signs at a total cost of about $500. Information: (949) 707-2600.
