Disney Charity Doesn’t Apply to Workers
Congratulations to Roy Disney (Charity Scorecard, Dec. 1) for his involvement with the American Ireland Fund event that raised about $500,000 for projects in Ireland.
If Mr. Disney would only display the same commitment for the Disney / ABC workers who were locked out Nov. 3 after they staged a one-day work stoppage protesting health-care issues.
Mr. Disney also rewarded his employees by cutting off family health and dental benefits Nov. 30. This is really Mickey Mouse. I guess Mr. Disney has never heard that charity begins at home.
