There’s No Place Like Kansas for Iowa

From Associated Press

Kent McCausland made two three-point baskets in the final 1:40 and Iowa ended the nation’s longest home-court winning streak at 62 games by beating the No. 10 Jayhawks, 85-81, on Tuesday night.

Iowa (6-1) fought back from an 18-point, second-half deficit and overcame 31 turnovers behind McCausland, who made four of five three-point shots and had 15 points.

Kansas’ streak, while a school record, wasn’t among the top dozen in college basketball history. Kentucky set the record of 129 between 1943 and 1955.
