Children 5 to 12 can learn about the symbolism of light and candles in a holiday program called “A Season of Lights” at the Los Alamitos Rossmoor Library on Dec. 16.
The Friends of the Library have invited the traveling theater group Imagination Company to present the show, which explores the diverse winter celebrations around the world.
The free event begins at 4 p.m. at the library, 12700 Montecito Road, in the Rossmoor Shopping Center. Information: (562) 430-1048.
