Half Brothers Are Executed for Killing

Two killers who are half brothers were executed by injection for a killing during a robbery. Larry Gilbert, 43, and J.D. Gleaton, 53, were put to death in Columbia, S.C., for the stabbing and shooting death of Ralph Stoudemire. It was said to be the first time since the Supreme Court reinstated the death penalty in 1976 that two brothers were executed on the same day.
