Wen Chang Is City’s 1st Chinese American Mayor

DIAMOND BAR — City Councilman Wen Chang has become the city’s first Chinese American mayor after being unanimously elected to the ceremonial position by his council colleagues.
Chang, a business owner, will hold the position for a year. He said his goals include making progress in economic development, reducing traffic congestion and planning for a new civic center.
