Big Entertainment Inc. plans to sell its 15 mall stores and market its products exclusively over the Internet. Big Entertainment, which specializes in products related to Hollywood and the entertainment industry, launched its Internet site, https://www.bige.com, only last weekend. The site racked up sales in the “six-figures range” with very little publicity, Chief Executive Mitchell Rubenstein said. “The market for entertainment merchandise online is enormous,” he said. The company said the sale would not occur before the end of the holiday shopping season. Shares of Boca Raton, Fla.-based Big Entertainment fell $2.13 to close at $9.50 on the Nasdaq Small-Cap market.
