The Cypress Recreation and Park District is offering mature driving classes, which can sharpen senior drivers’ skills and save them money. The classes, available to people 55 and older, will be at the Cypress Senior Center, 9031 Grindlay St. Students receive a certificate of completion, which can help reduce their auto insurance rates.
The North Orange County Community College District is sponsoring two classes, Friday and Jan. 22, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $2. AARP is also sponsoring a class Feb. 1 and 3, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $8. Class sizes are limited. Information and registration: (714) 229-2005.
