KNBC’s Fritz Coleman, Others to Perform at Benefit for Family Assistance Program

KNBC-TV weatherman Fritz Coleman, actor Taylor Negron and comics Andy Kindler, Geoff Young and Scott LaRose will perform at the Palace Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday at Comedy Stand 5, an annual benefit for the Family Assistance Program, which aids disadvantaged and low-income families.
The event will also include performances by singer Billy Vera and the Generation Next Dancers.
A related Internet auction--featuring comic celebrity items including donated signed underwear from Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg, Walter Matthau, Pauly Shore and others, will run from Friday to Dec. 11 (at https://www.TEN97.com/comedy), with proceeds also going to the Family Assistance Program.
