Students at Viejo Elementary School recently hosted visitors from the recently opened Sunrise Assisted Living Community. Seniors from the retirement community toured the school last week and enjoyed a musical performance from Kim Herr’s kindergarten class. School staff and the Viejo PTA are looking forward to building a partnership with the seniors, who will begin volunteering with the school’s reading and math programs. The school is at 26782 Via Grande.
