RANCHO PALOS VERDES : Body Found in Car in Ravine Identified as That of Girl, 17

A body found in a car in a Rancho Palos Verdes ravine was identified Wednesday as that of a 17-year-old girl reported missing last month from the Palos Verdes area.
The body of Lynn Allison Snyder, who was reported missing Dec. 12, was discovered about midnight Monday, said Sheriff’s Department spokesman. The cause of death had not been determined.
Snyder’s 1985 Mazda was found about 150 feet down an embankment at Palos Verdes Drive East near Ganado Drive. It was unclear how long the car had been in the ravine.
