Saladin McCullough, a talented but troubled tailback, plans to transfer from Pasadena City College to El Camino, where he expects to play next fall. McCullough told the Pasadena Star News he began classes at El Camino on Jan. 16. An El Camino spokeswoman on Tuesday would not confirm that McCullough has enrolled.
McCullough led PCC in rushing and receiving last season. However, he was suspended twice, once for his involvement in a fight, and ended up quitting the team.
The Pasadena Muir High graduate committed to attend USC two years ago before the results of his SAT scores were questioned by the Educational Testing Service.
