Successful Opening Day at Santa Ana River Lakes
- Share via
How successful was opening day Saturday at Santa Ana River Lakes?
For starters, it produced 75 rainbow trout weighing more than five pounds.
It produced a few trophies too, including the largest, a 10-pound 4-ounce rainbow caught by Craig Lumpkin of Riverside.
The fish at Santa Ana and elsewhere should be fairly safe for a while, though, because of the rain.
