SIMI VALLEY : Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Car Is Identified

A 56-year-old Simi Valley man who was struck and killed Monday night after stepping in front of a car has been identified as William Arthur Kelly, authorities said Tuesday.
Kelly was hit at 7:07 p.m. as he began walking across Los Angeles Avenue near Duncan Street. The driver of the car, David Livingstone, 27, braked but was unable to avoid hitting Kelly.
Kelly was pronounced dead on arrival at Simi Valley Hospital.
The accident is under investigation by Simi Valley police.
