Oxnard police have arrested a 26-year-old Alhambra woman on suspicion of passing counterfeit $100 bills at several stores in a factory outlet center.
Adriana Dominguez was taken into custody at 5:10 p.m. Monday after a merchant contacted police. Officers recovered six $100 bills from Dominguez’s purse and four from nearby stores, police said.
Dominguez was being held late Tuesday at the Ventura County Jail in lieu of $6,500 bail.
She is scheduled to be arraigned today in Ventura County Municipal Court.
Dominguez is also wanted on a warrant for theft in Los Angeles County, authorities said.
