SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Self-Defense Class for Women Offered

A self-defense class for women will be offered Saturday through the city’s Community Services Department.
The class, from 9 a.m. to noon, will focus on what women should do in cases of attempted rape, mugging or carjacking.
Among other things, students will be taught how to protect themselves and think like an attacker instead of a victim.
The fee is $30, and advance registration is required.
