December Inflation Rate Drops to 25.5%: The New China News Agency also reported that October’s annual inflation rate hit a record 27.7% but fell slightly to 27.5% in November. The State Statistical Bureau’s monthly report says rising food prices accounted for 60% of last year’s inflation.
