Raiders, Bugel Near Agreement

Unless negotiations hit a last-minute snag, former Phoenix Cardinal coach Joe Bugel is expected to become a member of the Raider staff by week’s end.

Bugel, who has been in contact with owner Al Davis for several weeks, would be an offensive assistant. His specific duties are still being discussed.
