Saddleback 64, Westminster 62--Jon Gallegos had 18 points to help Saddleback (4-14, 1-3) to its first league victory.

Servite 76, Santa Ana 57--David Downs had 31 points and 10 rebounds for 10th-ranked Servite (13-4, 4-0). Danny Rivero had 19 points for Santa Ana (5-13, 0-4).

In Century League boys’ basketball:

El Modena 77, Villa Park 73--Seijin Lee had 24 points for El Modena (11-6, 2-2). Jason Hutson had 21 points, including three three-pointers, for Villa Park (10-7, 1-3).

Santa Ana Valley 78, Foothill 63--Ike Harmon scored 27 points for seventh-ranked Santa Ana Valley (12-7, 3-1).

In the Empire League:

Cypress 53, Century 50--Brett Boulton scored 21 points for ninth-ranked Cypress (15-3, 3-0).

El Dorado 50, Katella 45--Trailing 45-44 with 2 1/2 minutes remaining, Dustin Miller made four free throws down the stretch to lead El Dorado’s upset of sixth-ranked Katella (15-2, 2-1).

Miller and Ryan Ayer finished with 15 points each for El Dorado. Carlos Romero had 16 points for Katella.

Kennedy 63, Loara 54--Todd Tsuboi had 18 points and five assists for Kennedy (7-12, 1-2).

In the Orange League:

Brea Olinda 80, Western 60--Madhav Bodiford scored 16 points for the Wildcats (14-6, 4-0).

Estancia 75, Aliso Niguel 40--Mark Pierson had 15 points to lead Estancia (17-3, 4-0).

Laguna Beach 64, Laguna Hills 49--Ryan Satrappe scored 17 points for visiting Laguna Beach (11-8, 4-0). Mike Scaglione scored 21 points for Laguna Hills (10-6, 2-2).

University 83, Costa Mesa 65--Freshman point guard Eric Palmer had 24 points, including six three-pointers, and 11 assists for University (5-14, 1-3). Mike Montoya had 25 points for Costa Mesa.

In the Sea View League:

Santa Margarita 67, Newport Harbor 32--Allen Krist and J.C Timmons each scored 13 points for fourth-ranked Santa Margarita (18-1, 4-0).

Woodbridge 64, El Toro 51--Chris Burgess scored 26 points and Micky Brown added 16 for visiting Woodbridge (13-7, 2-2).

Capistrano Valley 48, Dana Hills 45--Randy Shepherd hit a 30-foot three-pointer at the buzzer for Capistrano Valley (14-6, 3-1).

Mater Dei 86, Mission Viejo 49--Shaun Jackson scored 21 points and Clay McKnight added 18 for top-ranked Mater Dei (22-1, 4-0). Tyler Kalklosch scored 18 for Mission Viejo (11-7, 2-2).

Trabuco Hills 69, San Clemente 64--Rob Warnick scored 23 points and Jon Paisley added 22 for the Mustangs (11-9, 2-2).
