To stop this holiday folly, experts from the Broadway in Fashion Island Newport Beach on Saturday offered tips while presenting to an audience at the Newport Dunes Resort the best spring/cruise fashions for travel. Among the collections featured were Liz Sport, Joan Sport and Carole Little for her and Gotcha, Bugle Boy, Geoffrey Beene and Side Out for him.
Over breakfast, guests learned to make the most of a minimal wardrobe by choosing clothes from the same season, the same designer’s collection or the same color palette. Doing this allows travelers to mix and match pieces in almost unlimited options.
Two of the most valuable tips: Try to pack only clothing made of wrinkle-free fabrics and roll clothes instead of folding them.
