Stock Dispute

In her otherwise positive review of “Classic Home Desserts” by Richard Sax (“The Year’s Tastiest Page Turners,” Dec. 15), Michelle Huneven asserts that the photographs of the book “are poorly reproduced on bad stock.”
On the contrary, the photographs of the book are sharply reproduced on Alpha Matte, universally recognized as one of the finest printing sheets available. The paper has a matte finish, not a glossy one, in keeping with the homey spirit of the book, and Huneven has apparently confused this with inferior quality.
