McDonnell Douglas Corp. Earnings Up 15%: Boosted by a record performance in its military aircraft business, the St. Louis-based aerospace company earned $165 million, or $1.39 per share, on revenue of $3.5 billion for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31. That compares to earnings of $143 million, or $1.21 per share, on revenue of $3.6 billion for the same period of 1993. The company noted that the results for fourth-quarter 1993 excluded a $450-million pretax charge to its C-17 program.
