RAMS GO FOR GOLD : VOICES
I feel John Shaw should be investigated. He is a black spot in the NFL, along with Georgia. They have no business in the NFL. She says she had “no choice”; she does have a choice if she would listen to other offers from the Save The Rams task force. The NFL should block the move and she would have to sell, because she’ll be in Southern California with no choice but to sell the team.

Only in the NFL can you be rewarded in riches for being incompetent and for destroying a once-proud franchise. In the real world this would qualify you for bankruptcy. Furthermore, calling John Shaw a shrewd negotiator is an insult to the intelligence of football fans in general and Ram fans in particular.
Speaking for most Ram fans, I would hope and expect this dynamic duo to sell their homes and get their sorry families out of Southern California and on to St. Louis. You are no longer welcome around town!

I have a suggestion for Georgia when she brings her proposed move of the Rams to the NFL owners for approval. When speaking of the fans in Anaheim, she may want to do a twist on the old Sally Fields speech “they don’t like me . . . they really didn’t like me!” May the truth set her free.

Now that Rams ownership has found a new paying sucker, regarding stadium rights in St. Louis, there is an intended move of the team franchise to that fair city. The fan market in St. Louis cannot be greater than in Los Angeles or even Anaheim, only the guarantees make it attractive. After the franchise ownership and management has then milked the community of St. Louis for all that it can over the next several years, and the team is again allowed to dangle and swing in the breeze as the science of football advances even more than it has today, there will probably be another adventure for the Rams in yet another community.

Rams’ Farewell Ode
Goodby to the Rams
Georgia and Chuck,
The Ram Fans just
wouldn’t give a buck.
Georgia, whether here or whether there,
Don’t let the exit door hit
your derriere.
We at first though you a
honey,
But all you really wanted
was money.
Goodby Chuck offense,
Goodby Chuck defense,
Your obsolete game plans
never made sense.
To Missouri from L.A.,
St. Louis fans will really
pay.
Your new team will never
homer,
Not with Georgia as the
owner.
