Gulfstream Aerospace Gets $500-Million Aircraft Order: The Savannah, Ga.-based maker of corporate jets said it received a business jet order from Executive Jet Aviation representing the largest order in its history. The Montvale, N.J.-based operator of corporate jets ordered as many as 22 planes and maintenance services during the next five years. Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. is owned by the private investment firm Forstmann Little & Co. Executive Jet Aviation agreed to purchase seven new Gulfstream IV-SPs for delivery in 1995 and 1996 and has an option to purchase 13 additional GIV-SPs and two of the ultra-long-range Gulfstream V business jets that are scheduled to fly in November.
