THOUSAND OAKS : Library Gift Store Seeking Volunteers

The gift store at the Thousand Oaks Library needs more volunteers to work weekend and evening shifts, the library’s volunteer coordinator said.
Coordinator Norma Callero said the library is looking for dedicated people who are interested in working at least three hours per week. The job requires extensive training by library staff.
The Thousand Oaks Library Foundation runs the store, which has gift items ranging from posters and books to jewelry, folk art and games. Proceeds from sales are used to help subsidize library programs and services.
