Venus Knitting Mills Inc., a supplier of uniforms and sporting goods, is relocating its Western regional warehouse from Camarillo to the Channel Islands Business Center in Oxnard.
The company has purchased a 17,000-square-foot building in the Oxnard center from ATC Realty Sixteen Inc. for $740,000, according to Don L. Carlton Realtors, which represented the buyer. The warehouse operation is one of five Venus national distribution centers serving 11 Western states.
Venus is a subsidiary of the Glored Corp., based in New Jersey. The firm’s Western distribution center previously was a leased building on Aviador Street in Camarillo.
