Berry Petroleum to Spend $2.8 Million on Projects

Berry Petroleum Co., an independent oil and gas producer, will spend nearly $3 million on projects in Ventura County this year, the company has announced.
Berry, based in Taft, is budgeting $9.3 million for capital outlays in 1995, up 58% from last year.
Of this, some $2.8 million will be devoted to developing the company’s properties in Ventura County. The bulk of the overall capital budget has been earmarked for projects in Kern County, where Berry does most of its production and exploration.
