Fox network owner Rupert Murdoch denied allegations from competitors that his $1.58 billion deal with the NFL could cost him as much as $600 million in losses over the next four years.
“That’s not true at all,” Murdoch said during a visit with his Fox Sports staff at the NFC championship game. “First, we’re bringing in a lot more revenue than CBS ever got out of the NFL. Also, the value of our own stations has increased by over $1 billion.”
