City Council meeting
When: Tuesday, 4 and 7:30 p.m.
Where: City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave.
What: Council will vote on a pre-development agreement with La Habra Neighborhood Housing Services. The proposal calls for a $55,280 loan from the city to Neighborhood Housing Services to pay for architectural, engineering, consulting and other fees in developing a low-income housing project.

Orange
City Council meeting
When: Tuesday, 4 p.m.
Where: Weimer Room, Civic Center Plaza, 300 E. Chapman Ave.
What: Council begins midyear budget review to discuss ramifications of Orange County’s bankruptcy on the city budget. A number of public works projects may have to be canceled or delayed, or paid for without county participation.

Garden Grove
City Council meeting
When: Tuesday, 7 p.m.
Where: Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
What: Council will consider appointing city representatives to the Joint Powers Fire Training Authority and the Santa Ana River Flood Protection Agency. It will also appoint an alternate representative to the Orange County Regional Airport Authority and the El Toro Reuse Planning Authority Council.

La Palma
City Council meeting
When: Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.
Where: City Hall, 7822 Walker St.
What: Council is scheduled to vote on ratifying the rules of the new Orange County Fire Authority Joint Powers Agreement. The agreement would create a new governing board for the Orange County Fire Department. The board would comprise officials from county government and cities contracting fire service from the county.

Huntington Beach
City Council meeting
When: Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.
Where: City Council chambers, 2000 Main St.
What: Council will receive a report on the operating revenue and expense plan for the city’s Art Center, due to open this spring. It will also consider approving a lease to Jack McCauley to operate Pay N Play Racquetball at Worthy Park.
