Glow Time

“Glow Time, U.S.A.” (Nov. 27) was a great way to get into the holiday spirit. However your readers should know that Columbus, Ohio, is one of the most beautifully lit cities we have seen. The Columbus Zoo is lit for its annual “Winter Wonderland,” which includes decorations, a skating rink and a train for kids. Many homes along the Scioto River have lavish displays of Christmas lights that can be viewed from Riverside Drive (Route 33). Griggs Reservoir, along the Scioto River, has a “Holiday in Lights” display that you can drive through ($6 per carload). We spent the holidays in Columbus last year, and will be there again to enjoy our grandchildren--and the Christmas lights.
