BOYS’ SOCCER ROUNDUP : Alemany Gets Swift Kick From Notre Dame, 3-2

Steve Lee, Andres Padilla and Pat Thomsen scored for Notre Dame High in a 3-2 victory over Alemany in a Mission League match Friday. Notre Dame (6-4, 2-0 in league play) led at halftime, 1-0.
Greg Rubel and Julio Archila scored for Alemany (8-7-2, 0-2).
Highland 3, Antelope Valley 0--The Bulldogs registered a second consecutive Golden League shutout. Nick Kubli, Derek Brown and J.J. Sides scored for Highland (2-3-2, 2-0).
Paraclete 2, Rosamond 0--Bill Kneifl scored in each half for Paraclete (2-6, 1-0) and Jason Godde recorded his first shutout in a High Desert League opener.
Village Christian 3, Marshall Fundamental 0--John Rotunno scored twice in the second half to break a scoreless tie in an Alpha League opener at Village Christian.
Leon Reoyo had four saves for the Crusaders (5-4-1).
