Kings’ Broadcaster Did More Than Putter
While my Kings’ broadcasting colleagues and I were modest in assessing the way we spend time during the recent NHL postponement, I was proud to be a part of the Kings’ community relations effort during that time. It was important to stay in touch with the community while the game was temporarily halted, and we did that while helping many people.
Sure, I spent time “puttering” around the house, as was mentioned in Friday’s TV-radio column, but I also spent more time at the Kings’ offices and in the field on behalf of the Kings and hockey than ever before. I’m very proud of what we accomplished and convinced that it was time well spent.
Now drop the puck!
