SANTA MONICA MOUNTAINS : Recreation Area Guide Available

A guide detailing winter activities in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is now available to the public.
The guide, which lists more than 200 activities ranging from hikes to talks and other programs, is published quarterly.
Ventura County activities include hikes through Point Mugu State Park, cultural events at the Native American Cultural Center in Thousand Oaks and walks at Rancho Sierra Vista park in Thousand Oaks.
The winter list also includes popular guided walks such as a sea stroll, a hike to find mountaintop views, wildflower walks and moonlit hikes.
