GARDEN GROVE — Two teen-agers were wounded Wednesday afternoon in a drive-by shooting that police are investigating as gang-related, police said.
Each of the young men, whom police did not identify because they are juveniles, was struck once in the body as they walked with two other friends along the 13300 block of Brookhurst Street about 5 p.m., Police Lt. John Woods said.
Woods said a car pulled alongside and, after an exchange of words, a gunman inside fired four to five shots. The car was described as a gray two-door sedan, possibly an older-model Honda, Woods said.
Both victims were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
