5 Community College Players Sign With Four-Year Schools

Three Saddleback College football players and two Fullerton players have signed to play at four-year colleges.
From Saddleback: Shad Hinchen, a defensive back and kick returner, is going to Washington State; Andy Osborne, a linebacker, is going to Toledo, and Webb Henze, an offensive lineman, will attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Hinchen, from Indio High School, returned two kicks for touchdowns of 100 yards each and also returned took a punt 89 yards for another score. He had 63 tackles.
Osborne, from El Dorado High, had 117 tackles this season and set the Saddleback career mark with 226. Henze, from Foothill High, was selected the Gauchos’ offensive player of the year.
Fullerton quarterback Marc O’Brien signed with Kent (Ohio) and wide receiver Steve Correa is going to Eastern Washington. O’Brien, from Valencia High, set Fullerton’s single-season mark for completions with 191 and fewest career interceptions (seven).
Correa, who also played at Servite High, tied for the team lead in receptions with 47 and had 730 yards.
