Road and Freeway Closures : These sections of freeways and roads were closed for at least part of Tuesday because of flooding:

LOS ANGELES COUNTY:
* San Bernardino Freeway east and westbound lanes were closed at the Fairplex in Pomona, which affects the Foothill and Orange freeways.
* Harbor Freeway north and southbound lanes were closed between the Artesia Freeway and Rosecrans Avenue.
* The fast lane of the Long Beach Freeway was closed around the San Diego Freeway.
* Laurel Canyon, Mulholland Road and Beverly Glen are all closed.
* The Sepulveda Tunnel is closed.
* The division of the Ventura and Hollywood freeways was flooded in the median (center divider only).
* San Diego Freeway northbound was closed at Getty Center Drive because of a mudslide.
* Pacific Coast Highway north and southbound was closed from the McClure Tunnel to Cross Creek.
* Topanga Canyon Road north and southbound was closed from Pacific Coast Highway to Cezanne Avenue.
* Malibu Canyon Road north and southbound was closed from Pacific Coast Highway to Mulholland Road.
* At the Golden State Freeway at the Grapevine, the CHP was conducting “round-robin” escorted traffic control because of high winds.
* The southbound Golden State to the northbound Antelope Valley Freeway connector was closed and the southbound Golden State truck lanes were closed from Weldon Canyon to the Golden State-Antelope Valley split.
VENTURA COUNTY:
* Ventura Freeway north and southbound was closed at the Ojai Freeway.
* Ventura Freeway north and southbound lanes were closed at California Street. (Motorists cannot drive on the Ventura Freeway northbound to Santa Barbara and points north.)
* Ventura Freeway north and southbound lanes were closed at the Ventura River Bridge.
* California 150 was closed from the Santa Barbara County Line to Santa Ana Road.
* California 33 was closed from the ranger station to Ozena, and from El Robler to Church Road.
* Simi Valley Freeway was closed at Center School Road.
* The two right lanes of the northbound Antelope Valley Freeway at the Golden State Freeway were blocked because of a mudslide.
ORANGE COUNTY:
* * All lanes of Pacific Coast Highway were closed between Golden West and Warner Avenue in Huntington Beach.
* All lanes of Pacific Coast Highway were closed between Cliff Drive and Forest Drive in Laguna Beach.
* Carbon Canyon Road was closed between Valinda Village and Valencia Avenue.
* Ortega Highway was closed from La Pata to the Riverside County line.
* Laguna Canyon Road was closed between the San Diego Freeway and Pacific Coast Highway.
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY:
* San Marcos Pass Road was closed throughout the county because of mud and debris.
* Within the city of Santa Barbara, there were intermittent closures of the Ventura Freeway north and southbound.
* Officials advise that many county roads are flooded and impassable.
