North Hollywood’s Nicoli Batzkovich, a 6-foot-8 transfer from Belgrade, Yugoslavia, practiced for the first time on Monday and will play in Wednesday’s game at Poly.

Batzkovich, a junior, played with a national club team before moving to the United States. “I’m out of shape a little bit, because I haven’t played in two weeks,” he said. “But it feels good to play.”
