Oliver H. Crawford, 83, executive director of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society for 28 years. When he retired in 1993, the organization named its international broadcasting award trophy the “Ollie” in his honor. A native of Atlantic City, N.J., Crawford reported on sports for the Atlantic City Press, wrote a daily column for the Philadelphia Inquirer and in 1952 helped create TV Guide magazine, serving as its programming editor.
