Fountain Valley 1, Huntington Beach 0--Keith Hedenberg headed the game-winner off a throw-in from Steffen Greenly 10 minutes into the second half for second-ranked Fountain Valley. Scott Hainlen recorded his ninth shutout for the Barons (11-2, 1-0).
Los Alamitos 2, Marina 0--David Junker and David Shilling each scored for third-ranked Los Alamitos (9-2-3, 1-0). The Los Alamitos defense, led by sweeper John Ross, has nine shutouts this season. Marina is 4-6-2, 0-1.

Orange 4, Foothill 0--Lalo Rodriguez scored three goals, giving him eight for the season, for No. 7 Orange (7-5-2, 1-0). Teammate Victor Diaz had one goal and two assists.
In the Freeway League:
Sunny Hills 2, La Habra 0--Adam Beller’s goal in the 78th minute broke a scoreless tie and Scott Monson scored one minute later to complete the victory for No. 10 Sunny Hills (10-3-0, 1-0).

Saddleback 4, Tustin 0--Eddie Lopez had three saves in his eighth shutout of the season for No. 4 Saddleback (7-3-3, 1-0). Julian Rojas, Ramon Alvarado, Joseph Meza and Carlos Vizcaino each scored for the Roadrunners.

Laguna Hills 3, Aliso Niguel 2--Freshman Kevin McConaughy scored his fifth goal of the season with 13 minutes left to win it for host Laguna Hills (6-5-2, 1-0). Charlie Noble and Jason Balogh also scored for the Hawks.

El Toro 1, Corona del Mar 1--With 10 seconds left, Aaron Perlmutter scored the tying goal off a pass from Ryan Hritz for Corona del Mar (6-6-2, 0-0-1). Ryan Kenyon scored in the first half for El Toro (3-8-2, 0-0-1).
Irvine 2, Newport Harbor 1--Phil Oh and Ryan Miller scored second-half goals as visiting Irvine (4-4-1, 1-0) upset No. 10 Newport Harbor (12-4, 0-1). Justin Kerr scored for the Sailors.

Capistrano Valley 1, Trabuco Hills 0--Todd Weidner scored the winning goal 10 minutes into the second half, off an assist from Ruben Villalobos, for the eighth-ranked Cougars (9-3-2, 1-0).
Mission Viejo 1, San Clemente 1--Hector Martinez tied the score with two minutes left when he knocked in his second attempt for San Clemente (6-6-2, 0-0-1).
