Pacific Scientific Gets a European Plant Site

NEWPORT BEACH — Pacific Scientific Co. said Wednesday that it has acquired Eduard Bautz, a German supplier of specialized electronics.
The Newport Beach company, which manufactures electronic motors and controls, said the deal is a strategic expansion that will provide it with a manufacturing facility in Europe.
Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
