Kane Cullum, Crespi OL, 6-5, 265, Sr.
A first-team All-Del Rey League selection, Cullum is being recruited by several Division I schools.
Mark Manskar, Canyon, OL, 6-7, 250, Sr.
A three-year starter who excelled on an average team, his name appears on every national scouting service.
Brandon McGee, Sylmar, OL, 6-2, 270, Sr.
Played defensive tackle for the ’92 champion-ship team; one of five players to earn two City 4-A title rings.
Waking Bailey, Kennedy, DB, 5-9, 160, Soph.
Had eight interceptions, including five in his first three games, had 104 yards and one touchdown in returns.
Jermaine Lewis, Antelope Valley, DB, 5-7, 155, Jr.
Golden League’s player of the year; gained 1,367 yards and scored 21 touchdowns in ’94. He has 2,979 yards in 2 years.
DaShon Polk, Taft, DB, 6-3, 215, Sr.
MVP of Northwest Valley Conference; had 28 catches for 442 yards as a receiver; filled a highlight reel as a safety.
Davon Young, Sylmar, DB, 6-2, 175, Sr.
Had eight interceptions, seven of his 16 touchdowns came on punt (four), interception (two) and kickoff return.
David Dupetit, Notre Dame LB, 6-0, 205, Sr.
Though small, Dupetit had 151 tackles this year and finished as his school’s career leader with 360.
Jon Gibbs, Agoura, LB, 6-1, 238, Sr.
He so impressed Marmonte League coaches they shoe-horned him into a postseason award by naming him lineman of the year.
Marvin Powell, Birmingham, LB, 6-3, 210, Sr.
Hampered by injuries, Powell led the Braves’ late-season and playoff charge as a linebacker and fullback.
James Seidler, Sylmar, LB, 6-3, 220, Sr.
A leader of the Spartan defense that allowed just 153.4 yards a game, best among area City teams.
Gabe Paez, Notre Dame DL, 6-3, 210, Sr.
A solid pass rusher, he anchored a defense that yielded an average of only 121 yards a game.
Ted Iacenda, Hart, RB, 6-0, 215, Jr.
Had area-record 41 touchdowns, 61 in two years. Led Hart in rushing and receiving, gained 2,376 yards.
Durell Price, Sylmar, RB, 6-1, 215, Jr.
The City Section 4-A player of the year averaged 10.5 yards a carry, rushed for 1,936 yards, scored 30 touchdowns.
Steve McKeon, Hart, QB, 5-8, 150, Jr.
Latest in a line of top-notch Indian quarterbacks completed 160 of 259 passes for 2,925 yards and 30 TDs.
Eric Carpenter, Granada Hills, WR, 6-0, 180, Sr.
He caught 69 passes--tied for second best in the area--for 1,081 yards and nine touchdowns.
Wayne Emerson, Crespi, WR, 5-10, 180, Sr.
He led area receivers with 73 receptions, good for 900 yards and eight touchdowns. Had 96 career receptions.
Ryan Schienle, Hart, OL, 6-3, 280, Sr.
Strongest member of a line that averaged 6-4, 266 pounds and keyed an offense that averaged 395 yards per game.
David San Vicente, Birmingham, OL, 6-4, 285, Sr.
Helped clear the way for tailback Courtney Blunt (1,644 yards) as Birmingham advanced to 3-A final.
Ignacio Brache, Village Christian, K, 5-11, 185, Sr.
Kicked 16 field goals, 10 of 40 yards or longer and five of 50-plus. In 3 seasons, had 32 field goals, made 74 of 78 extra points.
Chris Sailer, Notre Dame, K, 5-10, 180, Sr.
Made state-record 22 field goals in 28 attempts--seven of 50 plus. Also tied the state career record with 33.
Caleb Smith, Antelope Valley, DL, 6-3, 215, Sr.
The Golden League’s lineman of the year; had three sacks, two fumble recoveries in victory over Hart in the Division II final.
Matt Gillis, Saugus, DL, 6-4, 206, Sr.
Ended career with 23 tackles behind line of scrimmage, including 16 sacks, a blocked punt and 3 fumble recoveries.
