Murdent, from Fountain Valley High, paced Golden West last week in the Fullerton tournament. Murdent scored a career-high 35 points as the Rustlers beat Phoenix (Ariz.) College, 96-64, in the first game of the tournament. Golden West won three of four games and Murdent was named to the all-tournament team. She made 39 of 69 field-goal attempts in four games and finished with 97 points and 34 rebounds. Murdent is averaging 21 points and nine rebounds for the Rustlers.
