Registration will be held Saturday and Jan. 11 for boys and girls 5 to 15 years old who want to join the Tustin Western Little League’s spring tournament.
More than 400 players are expected to participate in the tournament, which will begin in March, according to George Pendleton, a tournament coordinator.
The sign-ups will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and on Jan. 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lamppost Pizza at 17th and Yorba streets.
Pendleton said new batting cages have been installed at the Hewes Middle School athletic field, where the tournament will be played. Clinics also will be conducted by Little League coaches.
To register, players must bring their birth certificate and a proof of residency, such as a utility bill.
